10 minute charcuterie board

This recipe does not require lots of effort as it is for the busy bees who want to put together a simple charcuterie board quickly. Mix up some salami, prosciutto, avocado, grapes, cheddar cheese, oranges and some multi-seeded sourdough toasts!

Why not share this with your family of 4 or friends for tea time?

This would also be great for busy mums who want to put a charcuterie board together for their children.

Oranges and grapes

The oranges and grapes are packed with nutrients such as vitamin C and the kids will love the sweetness from them.

A good way to wash the grapes would be to soak them in a bowl of water with a teaspoon of salt for 10 minutes then rinsing them thoroughly. This helps get rid of pesticides.

Salami, prosciutto and cheddar cheese

The savoury flavours from these ingredients would give a nice balance with the sweetness from the fruits. Also these don't require any prepping! Just grab them out from the packaging and place them on the serving board.

Avocado

Place the slice avocados on the sourdough toasts! We all know they provide healthy fats.

This recipe makes 4-5 servings

  2. Slice the multi-seeded sourdough bread into 12 slices and toast them. Slice the orange and avocado then set aside.

  3. Tear each cheddar slice in half and fold each edge onto the opposite edge and roll up prosciutto slices.
