Colourful oats full of fruit and crunch

Crunch from the apples, pomegranate seeds, pumpkin seeds, coconut flakes balanced with the softness from the oats.

Full of colour and perfect for a warm, cozy morning.








It could even turn purple from the frozen blueberries!!

This recipe makes 1 serving

Total time: 10-15 minutes




Ingredients:

1/2 cup Traditional British porridge oats

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup almond milk

2 tsp chia seeds

1 tsp cinnamon

1 apple

1/4 cup of frozen bluEberries

2 tbsp pomegranate seeds

1 tbsp pumpkin seeds

1 tbsp coconut flakes


method:

  1. In a pot under medium heat, boil the oats in water. Once the oats have soaked up the water, add in cinnamon, chia seeds, and almond milk. Mix and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes or until it thickens to your desire.

  2. Switch the heat off.

  3. Top the oats with diced apples, frozen blueberries, pomegranate seeds, pumpkin seeds and coconut flakes.
