6 ingredient vegan peanut butter banana chocolate oat cookies.
These are great for an afternoon snack, pre-workout or post workout snacks.
They have a chewy texture and are not your usual crispy cookies. But!! These are healthy cookies that involve natural sweeteners.
Rolled oats
It is not a must to use rolled oats in this recipe but regular oats will do.
Dark cocoa powder
Only 1 teaspoon is needed in this recipe as dark cocoa powder is already bitter and has a strong cocoa flavour to it. This will give the chocolate flavour to the cookies. Of course, without the dark cocoa powder, you can just end up with peanut butter banana oat cookies that will taste just as great.
Peanut butter
natural peanut butter is best as there will be no artificial additions into them.
Which peanut butter product have I been using? I bought bulk powder's 5kg natural peanut butter. It's natural grind peanuts and they definitely taste like pure peanuts.
Banana
A ripe banana is best for this recipe! the riper the banana, the sweeter the cookies will turn out to be so, don't throw those brown and spotty bananas away!
An extra touch of cinnamon
Cinnamon does bring out that missing ingredient was fresh cookie scent.
